1951 – The beginning
We started out as a small furniture workshop. A few people, hand tools, and a lot of craft. We didn’t have sophisticated machines, but we had something rarer: an obsession with detail and a deep respect for the material.
1960s/70s – The second generation
The next generation takes over, the business grows, and modular systems and complete interiors arrive. It’s not quite industry yet, but it’s already a different way of thinking, organizing, replicating, and optimizing, without losing the carpenter’s touch.
1980s – The crisis and the turning point
The furniture sector collapsed and while for many it was the end, for us, it was the push we needed to reinvent ourselves. The market demanded lightness, new materials, and faster turnaround times. We chose not to resist change, but to embrace it.
1990 – The camper as the ultimate proving ground
We enter the world of plein-air living: campers, caravans, mobile homes. It’s a sector that doesn’t forgive, where every gram counts, every delay halts a production line, and every flaw becomes a problem. This is where we truly learn to industrialize customization, and where what we now call the Industrial Tailor Method is born.
